Derrick & Jody are a young married couple who met under extraordinary circumstances during their time in the United States. In the midst of pursuing education & work, they aim to make it a point to go on road trips every weekend (because why not?) thus igniting their passion in the pursuit of adventures & the rest was history.
Why, such a peculiar name, you must wonder? They wish to always roam “fully”, to be inspired, remain inspired & stay inspired through their traveling endeavours. They’d like to think they are quite the spontaneous (& occasionally crazy) pair who will try anything in a heartbeat, thus the word “fools” is a brilliant depiction – Everyone needs a hearty belly whooping laugh once in awhile!
As researchers who are just starting out their career paths, they often seek to gain copious travel insights within their resources.
Derrick is a solutions-focused business development professional with over 5 years of experience namely in Research, Recruitment, IT & Marketing. His research interests stems from the various fields & industry respectively. In his free time, he practices photography & dismantles computers to the great confusion of his wife. Currently, he is pursuing his International Relations Master Degree at the S Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) in Nanyang Technological University (NTU). His research focuses on examining governmental factors & its body of international issues. His goals incline towards contributing to policies for international humanitarian law, global governance and political communication.
Jody is a Research Master Student (Communication Studies) whose research interests is founded on the dearth of veritable studies in negative aspects of interpersonal communication within computer mediated environments. A recipient of the Wee Kim Wee Legacy Fund Graduate Scholarship at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication & Information (WKWSCI) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), she studies under the tutelage of renowned-communication scholar, Professor Joseph B. Walther. She enjoys contemporary dance & has been a ballet dancer since she was 3.
